The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Football Association, headed by Gamal Allam, took a number of decisions during its session that was held today at the federation’s headquarters.
The decisions were as follows:
1- Assigning Mr. Khaled Al-Dirandali, Vice President of the Federation, and Captain Hazem Imam, member of the Council, to accompany the delegation of the first Egyptian team in Malawi, and Major General Helmy Mashhour and Captain Mohamed Barakat to accompany the Olympic team delegation in Zambia.
2- Approval of the offer submitted by the United Company to sponsor the union for the next four years.
3- Applying the concept of youth competitions for all age stages through the regions league, the sectors league, the republic league, in addition to the regions teams .
4- Approving the adoption of criteria for selecting national team coaches in preparation for the formation of national teams born in 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009..
5- Studying the formation of the shadow team, born in 2003 and beyond, to participate in the next edition of the African Cup of Nations for locals, in coordination with Roy Vittoria, coach of the first Egyptian national team..
6- Emphasizing the need for first division club coaches to obtain a license A At the very least, the license must be obtained pro For these coaches within two years, with the need for junior coaches in first division clubs to obtain a license B At the very least, these coaches have to get the next higher license within two years.
7- Emphasizing the need for the coaches of the second division clubs to obtain the license B At least, and the youth coaches in the second division clubs obtain the license C At least, these coaches must obtain the highest license that follows within two years, and those who violate these standards will not be allowed to practice their work in clubs..
8- Approving the establishment of a training course for girls’ trainers for 30 individuals who have a license C In cooperation with CAF .
9- Addressing the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) to dispatch a technical developer to cooperate with the Egyptian Federation.
10- Approval of the participation of the Egyptian beach soccer team in the Belarusian international friendly tournament next August in preparation for the World Cup..
11- Forming a management for the academies under the supervision of Amer Hussein, Muhammad Barakat and Hazem Imam, members of the Council.
12- Approving the holding of the friendly match for the Olympic team against its Sudanese counterpart on March 18th.
