The United States remains by far the country with the highest number of new infections in absolute terms this week (155,300 daily cases, + 12%), ahead of Iran (35,100, -8%) and the United States. Uni (33,800, + 11%). As a proportion of the population, the country with the most new cases this week remains Kosovo (783 per 100,000 inhabitants), ahead of Georgia (774) and Montenegro (699).
