Leander Dendoncker and Wolverhampton win at Leeds and climb to 6th place

Wolverhampton, with the Red Devil Leander Dendoncker aligned throughout the meeting, came to win 0-1 at Leeds United on Monday evening at the conclusion of the fifth day of the English Premier League of football. Earlier in the evening, Burnley had abandoned last place in the standings after winning his first point in the competition brought back from West Brom (0-0).

Wolverhampton was able to count on a shipment of Jimenez hijacked by Kalvin Phillips in his own net in the 70th minute (0-1). A quarter of an hour earlier, the visitors had been refused a goal by the VAR for an unclear offside.

Wolves jump from 16th to 6th place in the standings with now 9 points, after this 3rd success. Leeds remained stuck at 7 points and fell back to 10th place.
