Leaking Product Information, Apple Sues Former Employee

The former employee is deemed to have violated the company’s confidential policy.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, CALIFORNA – In a company, of course employees have an obligation to keep a number of secrets. In fact, this also applies to former employees.

Reporting from Cnet on Friday (12/3), this secret leak issue also occurred to Apple. The leak was caused by a former Apple employee.

Forced, Apple also filed a lawsuit against a former employee who had served for Apple for 11 years. According to Apple, the employee had stolen information about haedware.

Then, the former MacBook, iPhone and Apple Watch designer leaked the information to journalists. No kidding, even the leaked information is quite detailed, starting with the features and long-term plans.

For his actions, the former employee is deemed to have violated the company’s secret policy and trade secret law.

Chronologically, Apple alleges that the former employee did download some information. In addition, the former employee also attended a special meeting which he should not have attended.

Seeing this, an Apple spokesman said that tens of thousands of Apple employees were struggling to be able to bring innovations that changed the world. “The act of stealing classified ideas and information would undermine these efforts and harm Apple,” said the spokesman.
