Leaked Specifications of Xiaomi 14: OLED Screen, Snapdragon 8 Processor, and More

The Xiaomi 14 had its possible technical specifications leaked in a post on the Chinese social network Weibo. The publication features a supposed poster advertising the cell phone, with the specifications listed in Mandarin. According to the material, the smartphone will come with a 6.44-inch OLED screen, 120 Hz frequency and maximum brightness of 2,800 nits. The model’s performance, in turn, should be led by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, not yet launched by Qualcomm. There is still no expected launch date for the Xiaomi 14 line.

In addition to being bright and with good frequency, the Xiaomi 14 screen must support Dolby Vision and HDR10+ technologies. As for processing, it is believed that the cell phone will come equipped with the successor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line processor. The chipset works with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage.

As for the battery, a capacity of 4,600 mAh is expected. The Xiaomi 14 should come with a 90 W charger, which would make replenishing the charge quite fast. Also according to the leaked specifications, the cell phone must support 50 W wireless charging and 10 W reverse wireless charging (in which it is possible to use one smartphone to charge another, “borrowing” the battery). Xiaomi may bring steam cooling, avoiding overheating issues.

The set of cameras should repeat the Chinese brand’s partnership with Leica. It will consist of a 50 MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50 MP ultrawide secondary sensor and a 50 MP telephoto lens.

According to the leaked material, the Xiaomi 14’s operating system should be MiOS, the brand’s owner. The smartphone can also have IP68 certification, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and Wi-Fi 6E. Xiaomi has not confirmed the information.
