Leaked Sales Data for PlayStation Exclusives Revealed in Recent Hack

The developers of Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Wolverine and Ratchet & Clank were recently attacked by a group of hackers. The attackers managed to steal thousands of files and terabytes of data about future projects of Insomniac Games, as well as important reports from the entire PlayStation division. Among the numerous leaks, only one document is of greatest interest, which for the first time reveals accurate sales data for all exclusives for PS4 and PS5.

This leak provides the exact number of copies sold of one of the best hardcore action games released only on PS4. 8 years after its release, we finally learned that Bloodborne has sold 7.464 million copies. These sales figures are only a few hundred thousand ahead of Days Gone’s 7.322 million copies sold. Many blamed SIE Bend Studios’ zombie action game for not selling well, but this report suggests otherwise. Days Gone is one of the best PlayStation exclusives, ranking on par with Ghost of Tsushima, Ratchet & Clank and beating a number of other titles, including the Demon’s Souls remake, which sold 1.857 million copies.

It is worth noting that this report does not reflect complete and up-to-date information. There are no games released in 2023. The sales report for all PlayStation exclusives was reportedly generated back in February 2022 and only takes into account data from PS4 and PS5 consoles.
