From extreme Lamborghini Huracán STO will not have its official debut until tomorrow and yet we are already looking at the new showpiece here.
Note that the photo, which is now all over social media, appears to be from Lamborghini Unica, the invitation-only app for owners. Even without the bold color scheme, with most of the car dressed in blue, while the various aerodynamic accents are finished in orange and black.
Speaking of which, the lower front splitter appears to have active aerodynamics, one of the few features that the EVO hasn’t inherited from the Performante, the latter being more or less replaced by the STO. Oh yes, those super sharp multi-spoke wheels are center lock ones, which originated in motorsport. After all, the abbreviation in the name of this newcomer stands for Super Trofeo Omologato, as this is the street version of the Super Trofeo Evo.
The technical side of the machine remains a mystery. Of course, a V10 with 6xx hp will be the power source, but the new STO could skip the Huracán EVO’s AWD setup, go straight for a RWD setup.
