In its internal memo, Apple revealed, this problem is related to hardwarebut not so serious that the problematic product does not need to be withdrawn immediately.

Apple stated, this problem stems from a deficit hardware on the iPhone 14 Pro Max screen. Apple is currently investigating this issue and will be rolling out an iOS update to address the bug.
