Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The iPhone 15 series will finally launch tonight. The latest flagship cellphone from Apple has been in the news for the last few months.
Various specifications and price leaks have been circulating on the internet. In fact, there were also several incidents that made the release of the iPhone this time full of drama, ranging from production chain issues to blocking by the Chinese government.
The Apple Event will be broadcast via Apple’s official website. Apart from that, it is also available in the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad and Mac. The launch of the iPhone 15 can also be watched on the company’s official YouTube channel via this link.
iPhone 15 will be released on September 12 2023 at 10:00 PDT or 00:00 WIB on September 13 2023. The event will take place at Apple Park in California, United States (US), usually it is recorded in advance but this information has not been confirmed.
At the same event, Apple is likely to also release the newest Apple Watch. It seems that this new series is not for the Apple Watch SE.
Leaked iPhone 15 specifications
Like the previous generation, leaks of the iPhone 15 have been circulating in cyberspace. Even long before the search date was announced to the public.
One of them is the possibility that Apple will no longer include a Lightning port in the latest cellphone series. The iPhone 15 is said to be the first iPhone to adopt USB type C.
