Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – iPhone 14 Pro is rumored to be coming with a fairly large RAM. According to a new report citing sources in the iPhone supply chain, new rumors claim that the iPhone 14 Pro will include 8GB of RAM.
The leaker “yeux1122,” on the Korean blog site Naver, claims 8GB of RAM has been confirmed. Mass production of the iPhone 14 Pro is also claimed to be underway.
Apple in general never really knows how much RAM is included in the iPhone, but on the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro the company increased it to 6GB.
Although 8GB of RAM seems big for an iPhone, this number is pretty standard among smartphones, especially Android today.
In writing, Android phones do tend to include more RAM than iPhones, but Apple’s iOS consistently performs better despite less memory.
Separately, Apple is reportedly planning a redesign of the exterior of the iPhone 2022 series. Existing predictions suggest Apple will reduce the size of the bangs and perhaps switch to a hole-punch camera system.
The iPhone 14 is also claimed to get a 48MP camera sensor and will probably make a full switch to an eSIM-only system.
