Jakarta (ANTARA) – Apple is rumored to be providing a 48MP camera for the iPhone 14 Pro, which was launched in September this year.
This news comes from Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, quoted from iMore and PhoneArena, Monday, that Apple will provide a bigger camera for the iPhone this year.
This 48MP camera is called a wide-angle lens. Rumors about a 48MP camera have also been raised by industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who is famous for being accurate about the specifications of Apple devices.
Kuo once stated in March that the camera size would physically be larger because the sensor used on the iPhone 14 is also larger than the latest cellphones.
iPhone 14 Pro is expected to no longer use the notch on the screen. Instead, there will be a pill-shaped cutout to house the front camera for the FaceID facial scanner.
This 48MP camera is estimated to only apply to the iPhone 14 Pro, while the regular version of the iPhone 14 still uses a 12MP camera like the iPhone 13.
For color, there will be purple for the regular and Pro versions.
iPhone is expected to launch four iPhone 14 models, without a mini version. The regular iPhone 14 and Pro measure 6.1 inches, while the Max and Pro Max versions are 6.7 inches.
iPhone 14 and Max are expected to use the A15 Bionic chip, just like the iPhone 13. The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will get the latest chipset, the A16.
