“Leaked Info on AMD’s Upcoming Radeon RX 7800 XTX and RX 7700 XT GPUs”

We only know the RDNA 3 architecture in the desktop class from the Radeon RX 7900 XT and 7900 XTX. However, we should soon see an expansion into slightly cheaper classes. Recently there was talk about the Radeon RX 7600 on the border between low-end and mainstream, now comes information about classic and higher mainstream. It should fight against the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Radeon RX 7800 XTX. AMD should score points with more VRAM memory, because there is talk of 16 GB of GDDR6 on a wider 256-bit bus (GeForce has 12 GB and 192 bits). With 21Gbps chips, this would mean a throughput of 672 GB/s against GeForce’s 504 GB/s. As for the core, it is supposed to have 70 CU and 64 MB of Infinity Cache. However, a slightly higher TBP consumption of around 300 W is mentioned (the competitor has a slightly lower 285 W).

He heads a little lower Radeon RX 7800 XT. Here comes the Navi 32 chip with 60 CU. 64 MB Infinity Cache and the same memory remain, i.e. 16 GB GDDR6 with 21Gbps chips. Game Clock is supposed to be 2.6 GHz, Boost even 2.8 GHz, so we are talking about a gross performance of 43 TFLOPS. This should still slightly exceed the 40 TFLOPS achieved by the RTX 4070 Ti. Regarding TBP, it is speculated around 250 to 285 W.

A trimmed down version of the Navi 32 chip should appear in the GPU Radeon RX 7700 XT. 54 CUs should appear here, the performance should be around 32 TFLOPS, the Infinity Cache will be reduced to 48 MB and a smaller amount of memory is also expected, namely 12 GB GDDR6. It is thus possible to estimate the use of a 192-bit bus, just like the RTX 4070 series. However, it should surpass the RTX 4060 series, where only 128-bit memories are expected. The TBP should stop at a value of 225 W. Among other news, we can mention that, according to leaks, the RX 7600 XT is to be sent to the editors on May 15, and reviews are to be published on May 24.
