The Geekbench 6.2 score of the late ES version Ryzen 9 8950X, which is the Zen 5 generation, has been leaked. This was reported by YouTube channel RedGamingTech.

According to sources, the Geekbench 6.2 score of the late ES version Ryzen 9 8950X (PTT 170W) is around 3500 points for single and around 24000 points for multi.

Details of the PC configuration used (e.g. memory speed) are unknown. Please note that this score is the result of the ES version and not the final silicon, so it may change in the future.

Comparing this score with the previous generation Ryzen 9 7950X and Ryzen 9 7950X3D is as follows.

The late ES version Ryzen 9 8950X has a single 20.3% multi 21.8% score compared to the Ryzen 9 7950X3D, and a single 19.8% multi 25.6% higher score than the Ryzen 9 7950X.

If there is such a difference in scores at the ES version stage, Zen 5 / Ryzen 8000 series desktop CPUs seem to be quite promising. Of course, if this score is true.

The accuracy of the score is not certain, so you should not take it with a grain of salt and treat it as a “rumor.”
