League of Legends: Wild Rift now available for iPhone and iPad

A little over a year ago, Riot Games put all the cards on the table. In a presentation held to mark the 10th anniversary of League of Legends, the developers taught from completely new games, to new versions of the current one for mobile. And among these, of course, the one that stood out the most was Wild Rift.

Wild Rift is the version of League of Legends for mobile and, soon, also for consoles.

League of Legends: Wild Rift is a version of MOBA created specifically for touch controls and controller. It’s not a simple adaptation of the PC game, but they created it from scratch, achieving even higher quality levels than in the main version. All this with gameplay accessible to all.

As in the PC game, in Wild Rift we can access fights of five players against five, in the same framework as always… but with some modifications. Summoner’s Rift has also been transformed, reducing its size and changing some of its mechanics to speed up games.

The characters, how could it be otherwise, are the same as those already found in the PC version. Yes, with completely new animations to show you more alive than ever. The only downside we can find is that obviously not all of them are available. Riot will continue to add new Champions (and others on PC that aren’t yet here) over time.

Ultimately, Riot Games’ new game for iPhone and iPad delivers a tailored gaming experience that works so well on PC. An experience whose playability should not be underestimated, because the speed it offers will be able to hang many that they didn’t quite find a liking for the computer version.
