League of Legends Season 13: Major Changes for 2023 Split 2 Rankings and Rewards Revealed

League of Legends Season 13 or 2023 introduced some important changes at the start of the year that fundamentally changed the ranking system. For the first time, Riot Games is introducing a new two-split system for Ranked, joining other game modes including Teamfight Tactics (TFT).

With the season split into two parts, players are given the opportunity to better track their progress and also earn more rewards. Notably, the 2023 Split 1 season starts on January 11 for most regions and ends on July 17.

After that, Ranked League of Legends Season 2023 Split 2 will start soon and will end on January 9, 2024. As a result, Riot Games revealed the Winning Skin for Split 2 and also the prize for scoring the most honor points. Here’s everything you need to know about the 2023 Split Season 2 rankings and honors in League of Legends.

Late 2023 Developer Update Confirms Rankings, Honor Rewards for Split 2
Earlier in the year, Riot Games revealed that players could earn the Victorious skin simply by playing Ranked, earning Split Points, and reaching at least Honor Level 2. However, the number of games to be played depends on the player’s rank. The Winning Skin for Season 2023 Split 1 Rank is Victorious Anivia.

In a recent Dev Update, League of Legends Executive Producer Jeremy “Brightmoon” Lee and Head of League Studio Andrei “Meddler” van Roon discussed the newest additions to the Victorious and Three Honor skinlines, which will arrive in early 2024.

As previously mentioned, for the first time, League of Legends players will get two Victorious skins as ranked rewards for the 2023 season. Additionally, due to the absence of an official preseason between now and next, Riot announced that ranked rewards will only launch in early 2024.

For Split 2 ranking season 2023, the Victorious skin that will be given to players with enough split points is for Tryndamere. Eligible players will receive Victorious Tryndamere via LoL Patch 14.4.

On August 31, 2022, Riot Games launched a new series of skins called Three Honors which will be a reward for players who remain positive and respectful in Summoner’s Rift.

Riot Games stated, “The Three Honors skin line replaces the new chroma [Kulit Abad Pertengahan] This. The Honor 5 capsule will still contain tokens that you can exchange for Twitch, Warwick or previous chroma.”

This year, a new Three Honors Skin was given to Akshan.

The developers said, “Speaking of honor rewards, for those who reach the highest honor rank, this year’s skin reward is Akshan’s Three Honors.” Akshan’s Three Honors will be out in LoL Patch 14.2, Riot Games says.
