The following year, KOO Tigers changed their name to ROX Tigers. They reached the semifinals and met SKT T1 again in the semi-finals. As a result, both sides played very well. In the end, ROX Tigers lost to SKT T1 2:3 and stopped in the semifinals. Smeb later joined KT Rolster and decided to retire today.

Smeb said that as a professional player, he has encountered lows and peaks in the past eight years, but at the moment he decided to retire, only good things remain in his memory. He has started his professional career since he was a teenager. At that time, he didn’t know much about the world and was full of happiness. During this process, he always pursued big and small goals, but the biggest goal was to satisfy fans. The cheers are a great motivation and an energy for him to keep going forward. He is very grateful to all the fans for bringing him these happy memories and experiences.

He pointed out that after retiring, he will prepare for the second stage of his life and will actively create content such as live broadcasts, and he also looks forward to meeting players in his live broadcasts.

After he announced his retirement, the official Twitter of the “League of Legends” event also posted a special message to thank Smeb for all the good memories.
