JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The PSBS Biak promotion team is hopeful that they can steal points at the PSIS Semarang headquarters in the third week of Liga 1 2024-25.
The actual PSIS vs PSBS match will be held at the Moch Soebroto Stadium in Magelang, Central Java this afternoon, Friday (23/8/2024) at 15.30 WIB.
PSBS has not been able to get a single point from the first two weeks. Nicknamed team Pacific Hurricane he suffered two direct blows; 1-4 from Persib Bandung and finally 0-2 from PSM Makassar.
These results see the League 2 champions for the 2023-24 season drop to 15th place with a collection of 0 points.
On the other hand, PSIS just won 0-1 over the hosts Persis Solo on Saturday (17/8). At the moment, Laskar Mahesa Jenar sitting in 9th position in the standings with a collection of 9 points.

PSBS supporter Juan Esnaider said his team was ready to fight and admitted that they already knew how to play PSIS Semarang.
“All the players are in good condition and ready to fight against PSIS,” Juan Esnaider was quoted as saying ligaindonesiabaru.com.
“I already know how PSIS plays and prepare ways to respond to the opponent’s game,” he said.
Meanwhile, Barbanas Sobor, a former PSIS player who was now defending PSBS Biak, admitted that he could not wait to compete against his former team.
“If I am trusted to appear, I will fight to do my best for PSBS,” said Sobor.

For additional information, this is the first duel between the two teams since 2013. From the last two meetings, PSBS Biak has always been successful in defeating PSIS Semarang.
