The 2024/2025 League 1 standings are getting stronger at the top after Persebaya Surabaya vs PSM Makassar ended in a draw. The following are the standings in League 1 after the match.
Persebaya and PSM had to be satisfied with a 1-1 draw at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Surabaya, on Wednesday (23/10/2024). PSM had taken the lead through the goal of Yuran Fernandes, but Persebaya managed to make an opportunity at the end of the first half through a goal scored by Mohammed Rashid.
PSM Makassar coach Bernardo Tavares said he was satisfied with this result. Although he said, PSM had a chance to win the match.

“I think we were lucky to score the first goal in this game. If we could have made better decisions in terms of giving attacking transitions and also in terms of set chances, we could have scored the second goal,” said Bernardo after the match.
Bernardo Tavares said the match was wild. The host Persebaya, who have better quality players than PSM, looked aggressive.
“I think the game was not easy, some of our players were not at 10 percent. In terms of stamina, Persebaya was better,” he explained.
This extra point means that PSM is locked in fourth place with 16 points. Meanwhile, Persebaya rose to lead the League 1 standings with 18 points, replacing Bali United, who did not play this week.
In the ninth week of League 1 there are still 7 more games left which will take place between Thursday (25/10) and Monday (28/10). This means that the position of the standings still has a great chance to change.
