A path of success
In a talk with DIARIO LAS AMÉRICAS, Albareda referred to the roots of the company. “I had come from working in music and media,” he explained. “I created a company called Eventus, focused on the Latin market in the US, working with brands like Dr Pepper, Nestle, Walmart, even in the music and sports business, but in the Hispanic market.”
With that precedent and the nose to detect the best market spaces and audience needs, in 2017 I dreamed of “a more ambitious and global project, and I started Loud and Live, a company that does not focus only on the US, but on the Americas, and Europe and it goes beyond working with brands, but in the world of entertainment and sports ”.
As he recalled, in addition to being in the sports, entertainment business and working with brands, “it is a content creation company, because we have access to content that other providers do not have, and also the creativity to create, beyond shows in I live, but for what is a screen, be it the telephone, a cinema, or a television at home ”.
Thus, the creation of a study has been an organic step for his team, which in fact planned to launch it in 2022. However, the pandemic and the unforeseen events brought everything forward.
“When COVID-19 arrives, we start to reinvent ourselves. Obviously, we had about 250 live shows scheduled in the US, and another 50 in Latin America. So we dedicated that energy to changing the plan and starting to develop content, “said Albareda, whose company has additional offices in San Francisco, Puerto Rico, Mexico. and Spain.
As the founder of the company added, “We started to work a lot in the studio. Last year we did more than 200 content for different brands such as Nestlé, Pepsi, Walmart, McDonalds ”.
Regarding sports, Loud and Live has been in charge of the exclusive Spanish-language broadcast of the Reebok CrossFit Games 2019, “as well as the production and live broadcast of CrossFit Open 19.5, both presented on the Loud And Live YouTube channel. Sports ”.
It also “owns and produces the Loud And Live Podcast Sports, which features unique content around the sports and fitness industries.” In addition, Loud And Live Sports launched the Trials, “a global digital fitness competition with athletes competing from all over the world and representing a total of 72 countries.”
Future projections
Now, in addition to branded content, Loud and Live’s range of work is as broad as the creativity of its members. Includes podcasts and short- and long-form content, music specials, documentaries, and live broadcasts, all with a high-quality bill.
Likewise, Albareda said that they have developed in recent months “the live stream of Ricardo Montaner, by Fito Páez, and we already have two specials: one with Juan Luis Guerra, which is in conjunction with a world network, and we have two or three artists that we will be launching in the coming months in the form of a documentary or music specials ”.
As revealed by Loud and Live in a statement, “through its entertainment division, the company has produced musical specials for brands such as Sony Music Latin, HBO and YouTube.” In addition, it adjusts the last details of “agreements with several global Latin artists for the exclusive rights of their concerts broadcast live.”
“The interesting thing is that now we are working not only with the content in the US and global specific markets, but we are now working on the strategy for Japan, for Asia. In other words, it opens the doors to more territories than we had before, ”Albareda said.
