Zegler shared on Instagram a photo gallery of several dresses she has worn to award shows this year. One fan commented that she was looking forward to her Oscars outfit. The actress responded: “I’m not invited, so it will be sweatpants and a T-shirt from my friend.”

Disappointed
When followers reacted stunned, she explained: “I’ve tried everything, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. I will be cheering ‘West Side Story’ from the seat and proud of the work we did so tirelessly three years ago. I hope for a last minute miracle and that I can still be at the celebration, but hey, sometimes that’s the way it goes. Thanks for all the shock and anger, I’m disappointed too but it’s okay.”
