Wafa Assurance announces the departure of Mohamed Ramses Arroub
and the appointment of Boubker Jaï as the new Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Wafa Assurance’s Board of Directors met on May 17, 2023, chaired by
of Mohamed Ramsès Arroub in order to deliberate on the evolution of the governance of
the company.

Mohamed Ramses Arroub tendered his resignation to the board for reasons of personal convenience.
The Board of Directors accepted this resignation and thanked him for the work accomplished in recent years, particularly in structuring the organization of the Wafa Assurance group, its development in Morocco but also in Africa and the strengthening of its financial situation.
The Board of Directors then decided to appoint Boubker Jaï, CEO of Wafa Assurance as of Wednesday, May 17.
The new manager is a director and a member of the audit committee of the company
since 2004, the year of its acquisition by the current Attijariwafa bank.
