At the end of the meeting, a final joint statement was issued in which the three leaders announced that they “agreed to create cooperative teams with provisions to coordinate efforts to ensure the protection of the security of the common borders from risks and consequences. irregular migration and other manifestations of organized crime.”

The final statement read by the Tunisian Foreign Minister, Nabil Ammar, said that the three leaders also agreed to “unify positions and dialogue while dealing with various brotherly and friendly countries that are related to the phenomenon of irregular migration in the northern Mediterranean and sub-Saharan African countries.

The three leaders also emphasized the importance of organizing these consultative meetings regularly, not only to discuss political issues but also to discuss economic and social issues.

The three leaders on the sidelines of the gas summit in Algeria in early March agreed to “hold a tripartite Maghreb meeting, every 3 months, the first of which will be in Tunisia after the month of Ramadan.” “
