The Skywalk in the Möhnetal or a cycle path through Werl, Wickede, Ense and Welver: For years, a number of projects have been implemented in the Soest district with funding from the so-called LEADER regions. Several municipalities join together to form a region. They then distribute EU funds to projects designed to make rural areas more attractive. The new funding period runs until 2027 and during this time we have more than 8 million euros available for the LEADER regions. This emerges from an overview of the Arnsberg district government.
