Security guards at LaGuardia Airport in New York found seventeen bullets hidden in a baby diaper, AP writes.

The find was uncovered when the metal detector in the security check. Shortly afterwards, security guards found the lead-filled nappy in the hand luggage of a male passenger.

The passenger is said to have claimed that he had no idea how the bullets ended up in the nappy, according to TSATSATransportation Security Administration, the US authority responsible for aviation security. to CNN.

Later, the man blamed his girlfriend for the illegal cargo.

The arrested passenger came from the state of Arkansas and had a ticket to Chicago. The police have now charged him with illegal storage of 9 millimeter ammunition.

The passenger who was charged with this matter claimed that the luggage belonged to his son.

In April this year, a 22-caliber pistol and over a hundred bullets were found – including those in hand luggage. Here the passenger’s explanation was that he had been to a shooting range and had forgotten to remove the bullets and the gun before going to the airport.

The man was nevertheless arrested.
