In 2025, LEA will go on an extensive open-air tour again. With her soulful pop, she will ensure unforgettable musical moments and very special summer evenings.
Anyone who talks to LEA about her music quickly realizes that her creativity comes from a kind of natural calmness. She likes things to just happen, doesn’t like to be judged and imperfect records don’t scare her. On the contrary: for LEA they are exciting contemporary documents.
In 2016 she released her first, very melancholic album ”Vakuum”. Her single ”Leiser” became a radio anthem and gave her her first gold record. Thanks to this new lightness and the opening of the LEA universe, she has found her very own sound world with ”Between My Lines”. She remains true to this sound world with her third album ”Staircase”.
No reason for LEA to sit back. ”I love Output,” she says when it comes to the fact that her album FLUSS is the fourth record in five years. ”When I write songs, I want to share them as quickly as possible – I don’t like waiting for the right moment, which never comes. I’m always in favor of not leaving an album behind, even if everything isn’t 100% perfect. For me this is a snapshot, a recording of my own development. I can let songs go very well if the essence is right – and music is always changing, always in flux anyway.”
In 2021 and 2022, LEA is the most streamed artist in Germany. She has over 272 million streams on Spotify alone. This is followed by the sold-out »Staircase« OPEN AIR tour. The period that followed was characterized by creativity and extraordinary collaborations, as well as the awarding of 10 gold and platinum awards. In autumn 2022 she played a sold-out hall tour, which caused enthusiasm among the audience.
Before LEA played a total of 23 open air shows in the summer of 2023, the Berliner by choice released ”Bülowstrasse”, an album completely contrary to the zeitgeist with which the street has gained its permanent place in the capital city, which is so rich in musical anecdotes and stories. Their most successful tour to date through the largest halls in the country followed in the fall.
A tour of 15 cities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland is planned for 2024, and on her new album ”On The Beauty and Fragility of Things”, which will be released on October 4th, 2024, LEA is taking her listeners on one poetic trip through a world in which grace and decay merge and beauty and pain lie close together.
This musical journey will continue in the summer of 2025, when LEA and her band will delight audiences at more than 25 live dates at numerous festivals and open airs and create many unique concert moments.
