Speaking of which: In a video on the Internet today you can see how Nils Wehner (Movement Leipzig) loudly complained yesterday evening about the route of the “lateral thinking” parade and claimed that it had been agreed that it would be with the car convoy over the Ring go.
Perhaps wanted by him, who was already involved in the registration for November 7, 2020 – the route imposed by the city of Leipzig never crossed the ring that Wehner had longed for.
Everything in a little film about March 6, 2021 in Leipzig. The day when out of the supposed 1,500 cars on the part of the “lateral thinkers” 300 and in counter-protest a total of 2,000 cyclists were on the road. And as incidentally proved what connoisseurs have long known: that Leipzig has become a cycling city.
The police did what they were there for: they separated the “camps”, suppressed violence if intended, granted the counter-protest its democratic rights and showed the motorists alternative routes through Leipzig and, at the end, the way out again.
