le pick-up Gladiator arrive en Europe

We were expecting its launch at the end of 2020. The pick-up version of the Jeep Wrangler has finally been announced! The Gladiator should soon make its debut on the Old Continent with a diesel engine.

The utility version of the Jeep Wrangler will make its appearance in Europe. In the end, it will not only be reserved for our American neighbors. The Gladiator pickup will be available with a V6 3.0 Multijet diesel engine of 264 hp and 600 Nm against a 3.6 V6 gasoline Pentastar in the United States. This difference is linked to government environmental standards which do not tolerate this type of engine. The Gladiator will still reject the trifle of 256 grams of CO2 per kilometer and will have an average consumption in the WLTP cycle of 9.8 liters / 100 km.

American finishes

This Jeep Gladiator will be available in Sport and Overland ranges. On the equipment side we will find roof bars, side sill bars as well as specific rims. To deploy its power, the Gladiator will be sold with an eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission as well as a dual-range Selec-Trac all-wheel drive (short and long).

You can also get the limited edition of this pickup. This model will feature 18-inch rims and an 8.4-inch touchscreen with smartphone connectivity and an Alpine audio system.

The prices of this Jeep Gladiator have not yet been revealed but we can already imagine that the all-terrain will be offered in utility registration to escape the penalty. It is expected to be delivered to dealerships in Europe in the first quarter of 2021.
