Cepsa has entered the round table of two companies from Madjaline Holding. The global energy and chemicals giant thus buys 40% of the holding’s stakes in the companies Sorexi and Bitulife. These are specialized in the manufacture and sale of asphalt in Morocco. With more than 90 years of experience, the first has three factories in Nador, Casablanca and Agadir with “significant” production and storage capacities. The second has been operating for almost 20 years on the market for the production and distribution of sealants.

The objective of this deal is to jointly stimulate the activity of the two entities and exploit synergies in the medium and long terms. “The desire of a company like Cepsa to unite with our group through this participation shows the attractiveness of our country as an industrial investment hub. It also reflects the attractiveness of our group and its in-depth knowledge of this market as well as its ability to reach international standards in the sector, even during the most complicated periods, “underlines the founder and CEO of Majdaline Holding, Aniss. Elbied.

Present in Morocco for over 30 years, Cepsa consolidates its position as one of the main energy players there and is also strengthening in North Africa.
