Maverick Vinales admits to being carried away by emotions when noisy with Francis Bagnaia over crash Of French MotoGP. But now both of them have forgiven each other.

Francesco Bagnaia and Maverick Vinales were involved in an incident during the 2023 French MotoGP at the Le Mans Circuit, France, Sunday (14/5/2023) WIB. The two racers had an overtaking battle to fight for third place on the sixth lap.

Disaster arrived when Bagnaia, who was trying to enter from the outside, hit Vinales’ motorbike. They then both could not control the speed of their respective motorbikes until they were dragged into the gravel.


Vinales looked furious at Bagnaia’s recklessness. He approached Bagnaia and flapped his hands and helmet.

Bagnaia did not accept it until they pushed each other and argued. Luckily, the marshal was able to calm Bagnaia and Vinales to bring the two back to the paddock.

Bagnaia and Vinales ultimately failed to continue the race. The 2023 French MotoGP itself was won by Marco Bezzecchi ahead of Jorge Martin and Johann Zarco.

Vinales said that he was carried away by emotions during the incident with Bagnaia. The reason, he was so disappointed because he failed to continue the race even though he had the opportunity to be on the podium.

However, this man from Spain emphasized that his feud with Bagnaia would not continue any longer. Both of them have forgiven each other. They are aware that the incident is a natural thing in racing.

“Emotions, adrenaline. Especially I was very angry because I had the potential to win races, so I was very upset. I was very angry with him,” said Vinales quoted from Crash.

“But after we forget about it, we shake hands. We know that this is racing and you have to have respect between the riders,” he explained.
