122 donors including 4 new ones showed up for the collection which took place this Friday, August 2 at Alto.
140 appointments had been opened by the EFS, so the full was not reached but this collection can be described as satisfactory. On July 2, 2021, the Tour de France arrived in Le Creusot. The Amicale had the good idea of installing a television so that donors could follow the arrival live. Same initiative three years later with the live rebroadcast of the Olympic Games in the snack room. The donors clearly appreciated being able to follow the different events.
Summer is not over yet. An effort is required to strengthen blood product stocks. Donors are invited to attend the next collection which will be held at the Morambeau hall in Breuil on Tuesday, August 13 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 45 appointments are open on the website: dondesang.efs.sante.fr
Yanis Sautel’s second donation“I’m 19 years old and I live in Le Breuil. I made my first donation in Dijon in December when I was a student. I’m changing paths to study graphic design. For me, giving blood has always been a vocation. It’s great that I do it, I’ve wanted to do it for a very long time, well before I was an adult.” And the first of Nabil Letaïef“I am 39 years old and I came with my brother Anis who is 43 years old. He has been giving blood regularly since 2015 except for a one-year break in 2023. I wanted to give blood once in Breuil, but there was no more space to accept me. Before, I worked in construction and I couldn’t find a slot that suited me. Now, I do temporary positions at Industeel and it’s much easier for me.” Eya, 10 and a half years old, accompanied her father and uncle. And she intends to follow in their footsteps when she is old enough.
