Amine Khammas leaves KRC Genk for Waasland Beveren. The Belgian-Moroccan defender has in fact just signed a 3-year contract with an option of an additional year at Freethiel.
In recent years, it has been loaned to Den Bosch and then to Lommel. A pure product of the Genk academy, the 21-year-old therefore hopes to find stability in Waasland-Beveren and finally wants to win in the Jupiler Pro League. He will have played a total of 15 matches on behalf of his training club.
Amine Khammas arrived in Genk during the summer of 2015, from the former Jean-Marc Guillou academy in Tongerlo. In 2017, he already celebrated his debut in the first team, but he never became a starter. In recent seasons the defender has been loaned out to FC Den Bosch, the Netherlands, and Lommel United.
