Thiruvananthapuram ∙ LDF to reorganize the cabinet after the Navakerala meeting. According to the presumption, KB Ganesh Kumar and Ramachandran Kadanapalli will be the new ministers. The LDF had earlier decided to give ministership to both of them for two-and-a-half years each.
It is reported that the ministers may take oath on December 29. In some constituencies, there are plans to take oath after the adjourned New Kerala Assembly is completed in the first week of January. The official conclusion of the audience will be on December 23 in Thiruvananthapuram. The final decision of the Cabinet reorganization will be taken in the Left Front meeting on 24th.
The CPM had decided to implement the LDF’s precedent of allocating ministerial posts to single-member parties for two-and-a-half years each. Ganesh (Kerala Congress-B) and Gadnapalli (Congress-S) will become ministers while Antony Raju (Democratic Kerala Congress) and Ahmed Devarkovil (INL) will vacate respectively. On November 20, Pinarayi’s cabinet had completed two and a half years.
