LCGC (Low Cost Green Car) cars are getting more and more expensive. For example, the Daihatsu Sigra, when it was first introduced in 2016, this car cost around Rp. 106.6 million to Rp. 148.9 million. But the new version in 2022 costs Rp. 129.5 million to Rp. 174.7 million.
Although various changes have been made from the exterior and interior, there is one important feature that has not been embedded in this car, namely the double blower AC. So Sigra still maintains the Air Circulator for the cooling system in the second row. The AC (Air Conditioner) system is only in the front row.

Marketing Product 2 Department Head of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM), Hari Wicaksono, explained that there was no need from consumers regarding the bouble blower AC feature. Consumers in this segment still consider price as the main factor.
“When we design a product, the main factor we consider is the voice of the customer. And for this Astra Daihatsu Sigra, a young family friend, we check from the results of our research, the majority of the reasons for buying the first Daihatsu Sigra are because of price, the second is because of culture. function, then we go to exterior styling, interior styling,” said Hari in Bekasi (7/7/2022).
“For this reason, at this time we are still accommodating the price, so that it is still the best value. However, it is possible that if in the future the customer trend changes, the customer’s voice changes, the main thing is double blowers, in the future we will definitely consider the customer’s voice. Then because this is LCGC, we also limit it. The factors for adding features must be looked at carefully, because if it doesn’t match the voice of the customer, it will have an impact on rising prices and eventually exceeding the limit set by the government,” he continued.

“In principle, we listen to consumers’ voices. But there are goods, there is money. In fact, in the LCGC segment, the most important factor for consumers is affordable prices. more considerations. With the current model Sigra, the demand is still quite high, the indent is still very much. Maybe one day when the purchasing power has gone up, it could be (given the double blower feature),” said Hendrayadi.
