The official calendar for the 2nd phase of the Butagaz Energy League with in particular the order of matches has been definitively confirmed. As a reminder, Besançon, Bourg de Péage, Brest, Chambray, Metz, Nantes, Nice and Paris qualified for the play-offs while Dijon, Fleury, Mérignac, Plan de Cuques, Saint-Amand, Toulon Saint-Cyr, participate to play-downs.

PLAY-OFFS

The eight teams ranked 1 to 8 at the end of the 13e day, either in alphabetical order, Besançon, Bourg de Péage, Brest, Chambray, Metz, Nantes, Nice and Paris take part in the play-offs and start with the points acquired from all the matches of the 1e phase. All teams will play a total of 9 matches:

  • February 27 to May 12: 7 matches (return matches from the 1e phase) February 27/28, March 06/07, March 13/14, April 03/04, April 28, May 01/02 and May 08/09
  • May 19 and 22/23: finals in home and away matches between 1is vs 2e, 3e vs 4e, 5e vs 6e and 7e vs 8e

The classification will be established at the end of the finals. The team winning the final between the 1is and the 2e at the end of the return matches will be declared Champion of France.

The six teams ranked 9 to 14 at the end of the 13e day, or in alphabetical order Dijon, Fleury, Mérignac, Plan de Cuques, Saint-Amand, Toulon Saint-Cyr, take part in the play-downs and start with the points acquired from all the matches of the 1e phase. The 2e phase will be organized in 15 matches with 5 matches corresponding to the return matches of the 1e phase and 10 home and away matches:

  • Dates: February 27/28, March 3, March 06/07, March 13/14, March 27/28, March 31, April 03/04, April 10/11, April 28, May 01/02, May 08/09 , May 12, May 19, May 22/23 and May 29/30

At the end of the 15 dates, the team ranked last will be relegated to women’s D2 for the 2021-22 season.
