Lazzate: temporary clinic opens for those left without a GP, “the most natural solution”
«I must first of all thank Doctor Panaro for the correctness shown towards the municipal administration but I would say above all towards all the citizens of Lazzato, given that he was not obliged to inform us of the termination of the service and to share this news with us in advance, but on the other hand it was very important to know this in advance and useful to gain precious time to identify a solution promptly».
A solution which the municipal administration had already started working on following the retirement of Doctor Luppino, who also had many patients in Lazzate, as well as in Misinto. «Unfortunately, the most natural solution, that is to assign the vacant positions to other general practitioners, is the most difficult to implement in this period due to the chronic shortage of doctors. With the AMT they definitely come to Lazzate
reduced inconvenience for our citizens», explains the mayor Andrea Monti.
