Lazio played host to a 1-1 draw with Atlético Madrid in the first round of the Champions League group stage on Tuesday, reports MTI.

The Spaniards took the lead in the 29th minute with Pablo Barrios’ goal, but the home crowd had to wait until the 95th minute for the Italians to equalize. Then the goalkeeper Ivan Provedel, who left his net unguarded, headed in Luis Alberto’s pass.

The Italian footballer became the second goalkeeper in the history of the BL who did not score from a penalty, Sinan Bolat, in the colors of the Belgian Standard Liege, equalized in a similar way during a 2009 group match against AZ Alkmaar.

Defending champions Manchester City had 22 shots on goal in the first half, while visiting Crvena zvezda had just one, yet the Serbians took a 1-0 lead at the break with a goal from Ghana’s Osman Bukari. At the beginning of the second half, Julian Álvarez equalized, and then Kyle Walker’s goal was disallowed due to offside. At two-thirds of the match, Álvarez scored again, and Rodri made it 3-1.

Barcelona beat Belgian Royal Antwerp 5-0 at home. In the second half, Lamine Yamal, born on July 13, 2007, entered the field. He is the youngest Barca player in the BL and the second youngest player in the most prestigious European cup series.

Other Tuesday results:

Feyenoord – Ceétic FC: 2-0 Paris Saint-Germain – Borussia Dortmund: 2-0 Milan – Newcastle United: 0-0 Shakhtar Donetsk – FC Porto: 1-3
