Luca Pellegrini returns to Lazio and does so through a complicated operation which provides for a two-year free loan which will turn into a compulsory purchase upon the achievement of certain sporting objectives: “Juventus Football Club SpA announces that it has reached an agreement with Società Sportiva Lazio SpA for the sale of the rights to the sports performances of the footballer Luca Pellegrini, on a temporary free basis until 30 June 2025. The agreement provides for Lazio’s obligation to definitively acquire the player’s sports performances upon the achievement of certain sports objectives during the for the 2023/2024 season and for the 2024/2025 season. The consideration agreed for the definitive acquisition is €4 million, payable in three financial years”.

Pellegrini had another two years of contract with Juventus and therefore extended with the Juventus club before returning to Maurizio Sarri’s disposal. Operation identical to the one that brought Rovella to the biancoceleste (deal closed on the basis of a two-year loan with an obligation to buy).
