Ramon Magsaysay Award winner Dr. Rajendra Singh said that the competition not only serves as a platform to showcase knowledge and advocacy skills but also inspires the budding lawyers for future challenges. The role of legal professionals in upholding the law and basic human values was also emphasized.
Chancellor of Jaipur National University Dr. Sandeep Bakshi, Executive Director Dr. Preeti Bakshi, Prof. HN Verma, Pre-Vice Chancellor and Vice Chancellor of JNU, Jaipur, Prof. RL Raina was present. Dr Bakshi said that the main objective of the event was to enhance various skills, which are basic for any law student. This includes research, drafting, mooting, legal writing, etc. More than 100 teams from law schools across the country including Hyderabad, Pune, Patiala, Mumbai and Delhi are participating in the competition.
