Lawyers and activists got together to request the Prosecutor’s office General to investigate what happened in four jails from three provinces last February, which resulted in more than 80 murders.
The complaint initially does not indicate names of possible responsible. It says that they should be determined in the research. It speaks of the fact that the death of 80 people deprived of their liberty must be investigated, the events that occurred on February 23 and 24, 2021 and the alerts caused on previous days, since the “events triggered acts of prison barbarism.”
