Santo Domingo, RD.- The complaint of the director of the Office of the Attorney Specialized in the Prosecution of Administrative Corruption(PEPCA), Wilson Camacho, that allegedly accused in the jellyfish caseintimidate witnesses from prison, provoked this Thursday multiple reactions from lawyers who say it is a strategy to ensure that the judge does not assess the possibility of releasing the former attorney and you share.
The Public Ministry took refuge in article 229, numeral 5, of the Criminal Procedure Code, to denounce before the judge that defendants in the Medusa case pressure witnesses not to collaborate in the investigation.
The lawyer Feliz Portes, assures that this argument is exposed to show that the release of the accused is a danger.
It is not the first time that the Public Ministry has made complaints of this nature.
