The lawyer Jorge Valda, witnesses and relatives of Julio Pablo Taborga, an official of the Puerto Quijarro mayor’s office controlled by the MAS, assure that he died from bronchial aspiration and after hitting his head when he fell hit by tear gas. The fact was recorded when he, along with another group, was about to unlock in the city of him.
“The people arrested are accused of the death of the official of the Puerto Quijarro Mayor’s Office, the statements we managed to obtain as the Permanent Assembly of Human Rights, with the witnesses and the same relatives of the deceased, say that he would have died of a fell to the head while running towards the block, it went to unblock and due to the gas a bronchial aspiration was generated ”, explains the jurist Valda.
He added that the forensic medical examination is accompanied by a representative of the College of Medicine, so that the causes of death are determined and the report is made public in the next few hours.
“In this way it will be possible to prove all these extremes, which will be decisive and in this way distort all this montage that is generated by saying that he (Taborga) has been beaten and murdered,” he said.
Videos circulating on social networks show that on Saturday morning Taborga is seen lying on the ground, when people try to help him, but he was unconscious. His wife had said he had been beaten. While the witnesses who were with him indicated that it was not at the time of the accident and that no one had hit him.
Valda noted that he had videos obtained from the cell phone of a person who allegedly organized the release, in which he hears about a plan to cause injury.
“We had made it known that it would happen, because it was incited and promoted by the mayor of the MAS of Puerto Quijarro, Luis Chambi, there are audio and videos that show the incitement to violence and generate confrontation, there is evidence that he has been organizing since first moment, “said Valda.
