TURIN – In an accident with a parachute, a well-known Turin lawyer, originally from Lecce, Giampiero Pani, 63, husband of the city councilor of ‘Torino Bellissima’, Silvia Damilano, died on Saturday afternoon.
Pani was making a jump with some friends from the Sky Dream Center in Cumiana (Turin). For reasons still being investigated by the carabinieri, the parachute would not have opened properly after Pani had jumped from 4,000 meters above sea level.
