According to his lawyer, Lohan has helped “countless individuals who are struggling with addiction problems.” “Michael should be commended for his commitment to saving lives, not arrested,” he said. “Michael has devoted much of his life to helping those in need. For the sake of convenience, that fact has been overlooked by the police. ”

Lohan was arrested in Palm Beach County, Florida on Friday on suspicion of taking or referring drug addicts to rehab in exchange for bribes he received as a thank you from the clinics. The clinics wanted to see large sums of money from the patients’ insurance for the treatment of their clients. In total, the 60-year-old Lohan would have earned more than 25,000 dollars (more than 20,000 euros).

Lindsay’s father is said to be the 117th Palm Beach police arrested in such a crime. That wording by the police also shot Lohan’s lawyer in the wrong way. “Michael is not a number and he will not be belittled to a statistic by the prosecutor. Violent relationship
Last year, Michael was also arrested for assault on his ex, journalist Kate Major (38). She is the mother of his two youngest children, Landon Major (8) and Logan Michael (7). The two were married in 2014, but the relationship has always been violent. Michael attacked Kate before, but she also threatened him with a knife because she suspected him of cheating. The quarrels became so intense that both were released from parental authority. The two have since divorced, but every time they meet, things get out of hand.
