Lawyer holds 5 kilograms of methamphetamines, Teddy Minahasa collects all BAPs

Jakarta, CNNI Indonesia

Inspector General Teddy Minahasa Putra revoke all information that was included in the inspection report (BAP extensionin cases of illicit drug trafficking.

Teddy’s lawyer, Hotman Paris, said his client rescinded the BAP because it was discovered that the five kilograms of methamphetamine that were said to have been sold were actually withheld by the prosecutor’s office.

“Therefore, today Teddy Minahasa in his BAP stated that he had withdrawn all BAPs as suspects, both the first and second BAPs and also withdrew the BAPs which were given as witnesses for suspects Dody and suspect Linda,” he said Hotman at Polda Metro Jaya, on Friday (11/18).

Piped Hotman, the revocation of the BAP also happened because the five kilograms of methamphetamine that was the object in this case had nothing to do with Teddy.

This was because the methamphetamine, which was allegedly taken from evidence in the Bukittinggi police disclosure of the case and which was allegedly sold on Teddy’s orders, was in fact still intact.

“Evidence confiscated at that time was still intact, complete with the prosecutor’s office, five kilograms and 35 kilograms destroyed, complete with official reports witnessed by all regional leaders, apparatuses and 75 mass media outlets at the time,” Hotman said.

It is known that Inspector General Teddy Minahasa has been named as a suspect in the case of illicit drug trafficking. He is suspected of controlling the sale of drugs weighing five kilograms.

Besides Teddy, there are also four cops who are suspects. Namely, AKBP Dody who was former Bukittinggi Police Chief, former Kalibaru Police Chief Kompol KS, West Jakarta Metropolitan Police Narcotics Investigation Unit personnel Aiptu J and Police personnel of Kalibaru Aipda A.

Then there were six other suspects who were civilians who were also named as suspects. Each has the initials HE, AR, L, A, AW and DG.

In this matter, the suspects are trapped in Article 114 paragraph (3) sub Article 112 paragraph 2 Jo Article 132 paragraph (1) Jo Article 55 of Law no. 35 of 2009 on drugs.
