Lawyer Francisco Javier Mondragón Alarcón Under Investigation for Suspected Anomalies in Interjet’s Aircraft Transactions

Take it with a grain of salt, but the name of the lawyer Francisco Javier Mondragón Alarcón was heard in several offices of the tax authorities.

It turns out that there is an anonymous complaint in which different transfers abroad are mentioned that could be related to Interjet, the airline that belonged to Miguel Alemán Magnani and whose fiscal debt amounts to more than 30,000 million pesos.

What is suspected in the FIU of Pablo Gomez and in the Prosecutor’s Office of Arturo Medina is that there could be various anomalies with the purchase and sale of this company’s aircraft, months before the government of Andrés Manuel López Obrador demonstrated that the airline was evading the payment of tax obligations.

Those who know say that the authorities will investigate whether part of these million-dollar resources were transferred to third parties in tax havens in Europe, so investigating lawyer Mondragón is not ruled out.

Do not be surprised that the corporations that have hired this lawyer may be called to appear to analyze whether any of these transactions belong to these groups or truly derive from any sale of Interjet assets.

We’ll see if this investigation succeeds so that the treasury recovers millions of pesos that could well be used in social programs.
