Lawyer for woman who sued Jerry Jones denies extortion attempt on Cowboys owner

Lawyers for a woman who sued Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday that allegations that she tried to extort money from him are “sad and disgusting.”

Andrew Bergman, an attorney for Alexandra Davis, 25, said he “categorically and completely” denies that Davis ever demanded any money from Jones in connection with the lawsuit.

Davis sued Jones earlier this month, saying she was his daughter.

“I challenge Mr. Jones, or any of his multitude of attorneys, media and marketing representatives, crisis management teams, or anyone else on his behalf, to publicly demonstrate even the slightest bit of truth in any of the allegations,” he said. Bergman.

“It is sad and disgusting that he has chosen this path to harm his daughter more than he already has.”

In the court filing filed Monday afternoon, Jones’ attorneys said Davis provided a draft of the lawsuit to Jones and offered to “make a deal” to “ensure he would not be publicly or privately identified” as his father. .
