The lawyer Roberto Ruíz Díaz filed a criminal complaint against those who are responsible for the possible commission of crimes against the freedom and purity of suffrage, before the General Electoral Prosecutor’s Office, related to the revocation process of the mandate of José Luis Fábrega, mayor of the capital.

The measure is due to the fact that the figures of the firms that revealedto the Electoral Court (TE) do not coincide with the figures that appear in the certification of the citizens who have supported the revocation and the elimination of the enumeration that the signatories shared since last April 20, when the process began.

Right now I don’t know how many signatures the revocation of the mandate has, we are only at the mercy of what the Electoral Tribunal issues. The citizen does not have proof that his signature will be counted in the process and if it is validated, stated Ruíz Díaz.

He indicated that the Electoral Tribunal is failing in its civic responsibility to give the people a guarantee that the 2024 electoral process will be fair and clean. “We filed a complaint and what does the TE do to eliminate the information so that one is left blind to see what is happening,” said the lawyer.

Since April 29 we began to see the situation of the firmswhich did not coincide with the cut made by the TE and the receipts of the signatories.
