The lawyer of the former attorney general of the Republic, Jean Alain Rodríguez, Gustavo Biaggi Pumarol, denounced this Monday that the former official was sent letters and a black flower crown to his house, so he could be in danger in jail.
“Former magistrate Jean Alain could be exposed with these issues. There are letters that were sent to Jean Alain Rodríguez at his home, wreaths of black flowers, funeral notes in this period of time, ”said the lawyer, although he did not specify the content of the letters.
He considered that in addition to prosecutors, prosecutors, judges, police chiefs who can be seen in these situations should have a differentiated treatment in terms of jail.
“Both the Public Ministry and the judges, as well as the security area, the chief of the Police, are people who are fundamentally in charge of fighting crime. During a period of time they develop a line of work against this gender, these are people who should have a different treatment with respect to all other citizens, because they are the ones who fight crime, “he said.

Biaggi Pumarol stated that treatment can be “house arrest, surveillance, restrictions” and that “there are many special prisons.”
Regarding Rodríguez’s condition, the lawyer maintained that in principle the former official was upset and that he has been improving.
