The events took place in Bogotá, Colombia, where the doctors presented the studies carried out on the minor’s body and found that 19-year-old Oscar Orjuela Pinzón bit, burned and beat his stepson until causing him 44 serious injuries.
“It is the hardest case that has touched me throughout my career, this minor was tortured, burned, beaten, they took him to the garden without eating, he had lesions on his tongue, on his genitals and naturally I couldn’t help but think about getting into the feet, in the body of that minor, imagine everything he had suffered. “In my professional work I have had many cases, but this is beyond all context and goes beyond the humanity of every person,” said the lawyer to the local medium Caracol.
After seeing the 44 photographs of the injuries, the judge handed down a sentence and with a broken voice declared Oscar Orjuela guilty, for which he will be sent to the jail without right to reduction of sentence.
