Lawyer Brigadier General Prasetijo Called the Maker of the Fake Road Certificate for Djoko Tjandra as Dody Jaya

JAKARTA, KOMPAS TV – Brigadier General (Pol) Prasetijo Utomo, who is now a defendant, has denied making this fake passport to help the convict the Bank Bali case Joko Soegiarto Tjandra alias Djoko Tjandra in order to get in and out of Indonesia.

Brigadier General Prasetijo conveyed this in a trial with an agenda of reading exceptions or a memorandum of objection to the indictment of the public prosecutor (JPU) at the East Jakarta District Court, Tuesday (20/10/2020).

According to the legal team Brigadier General Prasetijo Utomo, the party that made fake passport is the Head of TU Ro Korwas PPNS Bareskrim Polri Dodi Jaya.

“It is clear that it was Dodi Jaya who drafted the travel documents. Isn’t it right that the public prosecutor charged the defendant as the person who made the fake letter,” said a member of Prasetijo’s attorney at the East Jakarta District Court quoted from Tribunnews.com.

However, the public prosecutor (JPU) denied this defense. The prosecutor said that Dodi Jaya made the fake travel document on the orders of Brigadier General Prasetijo.

However, the legal team insisted that his client did not produce the fake pass. He referred to Dodi’s statement in the examination report.
